What is the best eSIM for Sweden?
+
For travellers who want Swedish mobile data on the phone they already own, eSIMbundle is a strong option. Buy a Sweden bundle before departure, land at Stockholm, Gothenburg or Kiruna, and use Google Maps, SJ, SL, Bolt and WhatsApp straight away. A VPN is included with every plan.
Which mobile network does eSIMbundle use in Sweden?
+
In Sweden, eSIMbundle connects to 3 and Tele2. Your eSIM switches automatically to the fastest available network for the best coverage and speed, so you never need to choose a carrier. All of them support 4G and 5G.
Does eSIMbundle have good coverage across Sweden?
+
Coverage is generally comfortable across Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala and Kiruna and along the main SJ corridors. Signal can weaken deep in Norrland wilderness, on remote Lapland trails and on small archipelago islands.
Is 5G available with a Sweden eSIM, and how fast is it?
+
4G is broadly available across populated Sweden and 5G is generally strong across Stockholm, Gothenburg and other larger city centres. Whether your phone connects on 4G or 5G in a specific spot depends on your device, the available partner network and live local conditions.
How much data do I need for 7, 15 or 30 days in Sweden?
+
Light users on Maps and messaging often manage on 1–3 GB a week. Normal travellers using SJ, ride apps, translation, streaming and hotel bookings usually want 5–10 GB a week. Heavy video or hotspot users can push past 20 GB a week. Use the Travel Data Calculator to size a Sweden plan for your trip.
Does a Sweden eSIM include a Swedish phone number, calls or SMS?
+
eSIMbundle Sweden plans are data plans. Use mobile data for WhatsApp, FaceTime and other internet-based calling and messaging. Keep your normal SIM active for calls, SMS and verification messages, subject to your home carrier's roaming charges and support.
Can I keep my normal SIM, phone number and WhatsApp?
+
Yes. On a compatible dual-SIM phone, keep your normal SIM installed and use your eSIMbundle eSIM for mobile data. Your normal phone number stays with your home SIM, and WhatsApp continues using the number already registered to your account.
Can I add more data while I am in Sweden?
+
Yes. In the eSIMbundle app, open Store or Add data and buy a separate bundle on the same installed profile. Each bundle has its own allowance and validity and may wait before first use. Eligible finite bundles offer saved-card auto top-up at 80% used, up to your approved package price. Manage it under Account → Auto top-up; check existing replacement orders before buying again.
Should I buy my Sweden eSIM before travelling?
+
Yes. Open the eSIMbundle app → Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM and use Install eSIM on this phone, or QR/manual fallback. Confirm the profile appears in phone settings. Installation does not start the bundle; first supported use in coverage does. At your destination, enable the line, select it for data and enable its Data Roaming setting. Keep the profile after the trip.
Does eSIMbundle include a VPN in Sweden?
+
Yes. Use VPN inside the eSIMbundle app with your normal account. VPN connection requires an active qualifying bundle, including on Wi-Fi. Prepare the app before departure; a bundle awaiting first use may not yet provide access. Choose a country and connect. VPN does not guarantee access to every service.
Can I use the same eSIM on my next trip elsewhere?
+
Yes. Your eSIMbundle eSIM stays installed on your phone. When you travel to another supported destination, add a bundle for it in your account and it activates on the same eSIM — no new installation required.
