Quick answer
Keep your eSIM installed between trips so it is ready for your next bundle. If you remove it, you can reinstall it by scanning your QR code again. Find the code in the eSIMbundle app under Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM.
Use the same profile for another trip
Buy a bundle covering the next destination, then check it under Bundles in the app. Account → My eSIM is for the reusable profile and setup; Bundles is where you check separate data packages.
At your destination, enable the existing profile, select it for data and enable Data Roaming. Do not add the same eSIM again.
Add data manually
- Open the eSIMbundle app. Use Add data or go to Store.
- Choose the correct destination and package. Review its coverage, allowance, validity and price.
- Complete checkout using the available payment options. Eligible wallet credits can be applied at manual checkout.
- Return to Bundles and refresh. Check the purchase before buying again if fulfillment takes time.
Each purchase adds a separate bundle to the reusable profile. It does not extend an old bundle’s validity. A replacement can remain Ready · awaiting first use until it is needed.
How auto top-up works
For an eligible finite-data package, auto top-up can purchase a replacement when verified remaining data reaches 20% or less — 80% used. Provider updates and payment processing can delay the purchase; it is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service.
The selected package is charged to your saved card, subject to the maximum price you approved. Automatic purchases do not spend wallet credits. Review the package and approved charge before enabling the rule.
- At checkout, opt into auto top-up and review the selected eligible package. Choose another offered eligible finite package if needed.
- For an existing eligible paid package, open Account → Auto top-up. Add/save a payment card if prompted, review the package and maximum charge, then enable it.
- If the bundle has already reached 80% used, enabling auto top-up can lead to a purchase soon afterwards.
- Check the replacement order and bundle in the app. A replacement may queue before its first use.
Change, pause or turn off auto top-up
Manage existing rules under Account → Auto top-up. Turning a rule off prevents new automatic purchases, but a charge already in progress can still finish.
The preference for future purchases only preselects auto top-up at checkout. It does not turn rules on for every existing bundle.
An expired/invalid card, a price above your approved maximum, or missing/stale usage information can stop or pause a purchase. An existing replacement or previous attempt can also prevent another automatic order. Check the status and orders before buying a duplicate.
Check usage and notifications
Open Bundles and pull down to refresh. Usage can lag behind the network. Check the individual bundle rather than treating a trip-wide purchase total as remaining data.
Finite bundles can generate alerts at 80% and 100% usage. Enable notifications both in your phone’s settings and in the app’s preferences. Usage alerts are suppressed for a destination with auto top-up enabled.
Notifications can be delayed or unavailable when permissions/device registration are missing. Check the app before you run out; an alert is not a promise that data is still available.
Unlimited data: no usage-triggered top-up needed
Unlimited packages do not need usage-triggered auto top-up: there is no fixed data allowance to refill. Use your plan for its selected validity period, subject to its stated speed and fair-use terms.
The 20% auto-top-up trigger and 80%/100% usage alerts apply to fixed-data allowances. For unlimited plans, check the expiry date and buy another bundle if you need more days.
Restore your eSIM or find a purchase
Connect to Wi-Fi, open the eSIMbundle app → Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM → QR code, and scan the code again through your phone’s Add eSIM settings. If you are using one phone, display the QR code on another screen or use the manual SM-DP+ address and activation code.
If a purchase is missing, use the account/email used at checkout, refresh Bundles and check the payment/order status. A paid order still being prepared is different from a ready bundle.
Check Orders as well as Bundles: payment, preparation and a bundle ready for use are separate stages. Refresh over a working connection and confirm the purchase account before placing another order.
Common questions
Does auto top-up use my wallet balance?
No. Automatic purchases charge the saved card up to the approved package limit. Eligible credits can be used during manual checkout.
Can I stop a charge by switching auto top-up off?
Switching off prevents new purchases, but an automatic purchase already in progress may still complete.
Do I need a new QR code for more data?
No. Keep the reusable profile installed and buy a new bundle for it.
