Quick answer
Check signal, select your eSIMbundle line for mobile data, enable its roaming setting and test with VPN disconnected. If the eSIM profile is missing from SIM settings, reinstall it using your QR code.
Run the basic checks
- Turn Wi-Fi off briefly so you are testing the mobile connection. Disconnect VPN.
- Confirm the installed eSIM line is enabled. Look for Webbing or the name you gave it.
- The installed profile is usually called Webbing in your phone’s settings. If you renamed it, use your chosen name. Select this line for mobile data and turn Data Roaming on for this line when you are ready to connect at your destination.
- Disable automatic data switching if offered. Briefly toggle airplane mode, then wait for network registration.
- Try a simple webpage and a second app. If there is no signal or No Service, use the network-registration guide.
Check Bundles in the app
Use Wi-Fi if necessary, then open Bundles and pull down to refresh. Confirm the bundle covers your current destination and has usable data and validity. Read the individual package, not just a trip-wide total.
A replacement can be ready or queued before its first use. A purchase still being prepared is not the same as an installed eSIM or active bundle. Usage/status can lag.
If a finite bundle is depleted, add data through Store. If auto top-up is enabled, check its rule and existing replacement orders first to avoid a duplicate purchase.
Separate VPN problems from mobile-data problems
If ordinary browsing works with VPN off, leave the eSIM settings alone and troubleshoot VPN. Check active access, permission, selected country and, where appropriate, China & Russia mode.
If only one service fails, the service or network may be restricting it. A VPN cannot guarantee access to every service.
Only change APN when instructed
Use the APN supplied for your eSIM or by support. Do not copy a random local carrier APN. Check the APN guide only after confirming data-line, roaming and bundle settings.
Choose the next step from what you see
If the eSIM appears in SIM settings, check the selected data line, Data Roaming, remaining data and expiry. If it is missing, reinstall it using your QR code. Reinstallation restores the profile; it does not add data or renew a bundle.
Keep your eSIM installed between trips so it is ready for your next bundle. If you remove it, you can reinstall it by scanning your QR code again. Find the code in the eSIMbundle app under Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM.
Common questions
Should I reinstall the eSIM to fix data?
If the profile is missing, yes: scan your QR code again to reinstall it. If it is already installed, first check the data line, roaming, bundle coverage and remaining data. These settings often explain the connection problem.
Why does my phone show signal but no internet?
Signal alone does not prove the selected bundle has usable data. Check the data line, roaming, coverage, allowance and validity; then test without VPN.
