Fix No Service after installing your eSIM

Check destination coverage, enabled eSIM and network registration without deleting your reusable profile.

Quick answer

No Service means the phone has not registered on a usable cellular network. Before you arrive in a covered destination, this can be expected; it does not by itself mean installation failed.

Confirm the profile exists

Open your phone’s SIM settings and find Webbing or your chosen label. The app’s Marked as installed status alone does not confirm the OS finished installing it. If the profile is absent, use the installation guide over Wi-Fi.

Check where you are

In the app, check the bundle’s destination coverage. A profile installed at home may not register before you enter that coverage area. A ready bundle awaiting first use is not necessarily an error.

Buildings, underground areas and remote locations can also have poor signal. Move to an open area if practical.

Try network registration

  1. Turn off airplane mode and enable the eSIM line.
  2. The installed profile is usually called Webbing in your phone’s settings. If you renamed it, use your chosen name. Select this line for mobile data and turn Data Roaming on for this line when you are ready to connect at your destination.
  3. Use automatic network selection first. Briefly toggle airplane mode and wait for registration.
  4. Restart the phone if needed. Only select a network manually when your plan instructions or support identify an eligible network.

If signal returns but data does not

Continue with the data-not-working guide. Check remaining allowance and validity, and test browsing with Wi-Fi and VPN off. VPN settings cannot create cellular signal.

If registration still fails

Check that you are in the bundle’s coverage area, the eSIM line is enabled and automatic network selection is on. If the profile is missing from SIM settings, reinstall it using the QR code in My eSIM. If signal returns but browsing still fails, follow the mobile-data guide below.

Keep your eSIM installed between trips so it is ready for your next bundle. If you remove it, you can reinstall it by scanning your QR code again. Find the code in the eSIMbundle app under Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM.

Common questions

Is No Service at home normal?

It can be when you have not yet reached the bundle’s coverage area. Confirm installation in phone settings and check coverage before trying to reinstall.

Should I choose any network manually?

No. Use automatic selection first, or an eligible network identified in your plan instructions or by support.
