Quick answer
Open the eSIMbundle app and sign in with the account used for your purchase. Go to Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM. On This phone, tap Install eSIM on this phone and follow the phone’s approval prompts. If direct installation is unavailable, use the QR code tab or the manual SM-DP+ address and activation code.
Before you start
Use reliable Wi-Fi and an unlocked iPhone with eSIM support. Hardware and regional variants differ: check your exact model in Settings and the compatibility checker. Update iOS before travel.
Direct installation by link requires iOS 17.4 or later. On an earlier compatible version, use QR or manual installation.
Install from the app
- Open the eSIMbundle app and sign in with the account used for your purchase. Go to Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM.
- Select This phone, then Install eSIM on this phone.
- Approve the iPhone prompts and wait for setup to finish.
- Open Settings → Mobile Service, Cellular or Mobile Data to confirm the eSIM appears. Menu labels vary by region and iOS version.
Use QR or manual setup
In the app’s setup screen, open QR code. Display it on another trusted screen, then on iPhone open Settings → Mobile Service / Cellular / Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. Follow the prompts.
For manual setup, choose Enter Details Manually in the QR flow. Copy the SM-DP+ address and activation code from the app exactly. Enter a confirmation code only if one is supplied.
The app can copy, save or share the QR image. Keep it private and use it only to install your own profile.
Confirm installation before you travel
Check that the profile appears in your phone’s SIM settings. Opening the installer or Settings does not prove installation completed.
I have installed this eSIM records your confirmation in the app. Marked as installed is different from Installed, which can reflect provider or usage evidence. A delayed status alone is not a reason to reinstall.
Keep your eSIM installed between trips so it is ready for your next bundle. If you remove it, you can reinstall it by scanning your QR code again. Find the code in the eSIMbundle app under Account → My eSIM → Set up your eSIM.
Connect when you arrive
Installing the profile does not start a bundle. A bundle starts automatically on its first supported data/network use in its coverage area; its validity then runs according to the plan. Check the bundle details for its allowance, coverage and expiry.
- Turn off airplane mode and turn on the installed eSIM line.
- The installed profile is usually called Webbing in your phone’s settings. If you renamed it, use your chosen name. Select this line for mobile data and turn Data Roaming on for this line when you are ready to connect at your destination.
- Turn off automatic mobile-data switching to your home SIM if your phone offers it. Keep roaming off for the home line unless you intend to use its roaming service.
- Check Bundles in the app for destination coverage and remaining data. Test a simple webpage with Wi-Fi off and VPN disconnected.
- If it does not connect, briefly toggle airplane mode, then allow the phone time to register. Use the No Service guide if it cannot find a network.
If installation fails
Check your internet connection, device compatibility and carrier lock. If the profile already appears in Settings, enable that line and select it for data.
If scanning fails, open the QR code from My eSIM again and try manual setup with the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown there.
If the profile appears in SIM settings, installation is complete: select it for data and enable Data Roaming. If it is missing, connect to Wi-Fi and scan your QR code again or enter the manual details.
