Quick answer
Every active eSIMbundle data bundle includes VPN access at no extra cost. Use it on your phone, laptop and desktop at the same time with native eSIMbundle apps for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. One account gives you travel data and VPN across your devices, without buying a separate VPN subscription.
Prepare before departure
Download the official eSIMbundle app through the app page and sign in while you have reliable internet. Make sure your purchase is linked to the same account.
Prepare before entering a destination where downloading apps or accessing services may be difficult. Installation and sign-in do not start a data bundle.
Your bundle is active, so your VPN access is active
Whenever your data bundle is active, your included VPN access is active too. Use it over mobile data or Wi-Fi, including hotel, airport and café Wi-Fi, on your phone and computers simultaneously.
Open the eSIMbundle app on each device and tap Connect to protect that device’s connection. VPN access being active means it is available to use; the app’s Connected status confirms the VPN connection is running.
You can install the apps and sign in before your trip. If your first bundle is still awaiting first use, VPN access starts when the bundle becomes active.
Connect and disconnect
- First check that mobile data or Wi-Fi works with VPN disconnected.
- Open VPN in the eSIMbundle app.
- Choose an available country and tap Connect. Approve the operating system’s VPN permission if requested.
- Wait for the connected status, then test the app or website you need.
- Use Disconnect in the VPN screen to stop the connection.
Connecting in China or Russia
If needed, select Change for China/Russia and choose China & Russia, then reconnect. Use the modes and countries offered in the app.
A VPN may help with network restrictions, but cannot guarantee access to every app, bank or streaming service. Availability depends on the local network and the service’s own rules.
One account for your phone, laptop and desktop
eSIMbundle provides native apps for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. Sign in with the same eSIMbundle account on each device to use your included VPN on your phone, laptop and desktop at the same time.
Your computer can use its own Wi-Fi or internet connection; it does not need to connect through your phone to use the VPN. The cellular eSIM supplies mobile data to the compatible device where it is installed.
Get the native app for each device from the official eSIMbundle app page. Choose a VPN location and connect in the app—there are no separate VPN credentials to copy.
If VPN will not connect
- Disconnect VPN and test a simple webpage. If ordinary internet fails, fix the mobile-data or Wi-Fi connection first.
- Check that you are signed into the purchase account and have an active data bundle. Refresh the status.
- Check that VPN permission was allowed. Disconnect any other VPN before trying again.
- Try another offered country; in China or Russia, try China & Russia mode.
- If only one app fails, test another website. That service may have its own restrictions even when VPN is connected.
If browsing works with VPN off, check VPN access in the app, allow the system VPN permission and try another available country. If browsing also fails with VPN off, use the mobile-data guide below.
After your trip
Disconnect VPN when you no longer need it. Check bundle status if access later becomes unavailable. Keep the eSIM profile installed for future trips.
Common questions
Do I need separate VPN credentials?
No. Use your normal eSIMbundle account in the eSIMbundle app.
Can I use VPN over hotel Wi-Fi?
Yes. Whenever your bundle is active, use the included VPN over hotel Wi-Fi on your phone, laptop and desktop—even at the same time.
Can I use the VPN on my phone and computer at the same time?
Yes. Sign in to the native eSIMbundle apps on your phone, laptop and desktop with the same account. Your active data bundle includes simultaneous VPN use across those devices at no extra cost.
